This policy covers the iPhone app and its widgets. The external services described below carry out their own data processing.
02Information stored on your device
The app stores locally:
- Favorite stations, their details, and the date they were added to favorites.
- Your last selected station and details of saved stations.
- Station country, language, interest and genre preferences, and the interface language.
- Appearance, playback and cellular data settings, sleep timer configuration, and initial setup status.
- Cached search results and their associated filters, so you can browse saved results offline.
This information preserves your choices and supports the app's features. It is not sent to a developer-operated server. Recommendations use the filters you select; no listening profile is built on a developer-operated server.
Widgets use shared local iOS storage to access a copy of your favorites —station identifier, name, country and region— and the interface language. This storage is shared between the app and its widget extension; it does not publish the information online.
03Searches and the Radio Browser directory
The app queries the community-maintained Radio Browser directory and its available servers for stations and countries.
Requests may include search text and country, region, genre or language filters, together with pagination and sorting parameters. Servers also receive your connection's IP address and technical request information, including a generic app identifier in the User-Agent header. That identifier is not a personal identifier or a unique device identifier.
Country and region filters describe the stations you want to find: the app does not request access to your iPhone's location. Avoid entering personal information in searches.
Directory operators may process connection data according to their practices. The developer cannot access their logs or determine their retention periods. See the service information for details of its operation and ways to contact its operators.
04Playback and station services
When you play a station, your device connects to its audio server and, where applicable, content delivery providers or servers to which the stream redirects. These services receive your IP address, content requests and other technical connection information; they may know which stream you request and when.
Each station and provider determines its own processing and retention practices. Consult the station's policy for information about its logs or advertising. Minimal Radio FM does not incorporate an advertising network or identify listeners for advertising, but broadcasts may contain station-provided advertisements.
The app provides playback information to iOS for system controls and the lock screen. If you select AirPlay, the receiving device and relevant Apple services are involved.
05Purchases, Apple and diagnostics
Apple handles downloads and, where a purchase price applies, payment through the App Store. The app does not request or receive your payment card details or Apple Account credentials.
Apple may process purchase, download and diagnostic information according to its policies and your settings. Statistics and reports that Apple may make available to the developer will be used to understand app performance and resolve problems. The app adds no separate analytics or crash reporting system.

06Support and legal bases
If you contact us, we process your email address, message content, and any information or attachments you choose to send to respond and resolve your request. Do not send passwords, payment details or unnecessary sensitive information.
In the European Economic Area, providing app features and handling service-related requests is based on performing the contractual relationship or taking steps you request before entering into a contract (GDPR Article 6(1)(b)). Handling other inquiries and technical problems relies on the legitimate interest in assisting users and maintaining the app (Article 6(1)(f)). Meeting legal obligations, including handling rights requests, relies on Article 6(1)(c).
Email providers involved in receiving and responding to messages may process the information needed to provide that service. Information may also be disclosed to authorities when required by law. We do not use your messages to send advertising.
07Retention and deletion
Favorites and preferences remain on your device until you change them or delete the relevant data. The cache is limited to the most recent pages. You can clear it through Settings → Data and privacy → Clear cache, without deleting favorites.
On the same screen, Reset the app removes favorites, saved station records, cached results, station preferences, playback settings and timer data, and clears favorites shared with widgets. Your interface language selection is retained and can be changed in Settings.
Deleting the app using the iOS option that removes its data deletes its associated local storage; offloading it while preserving data is not the same as deleting those data. Data included by iOS in backups remain subject to your settings and Apple's backup management.
Support messages are kept for as long as needed to handle the request. When retention is needed to meet legal obligations or address potential liabilities, access is restricted to those purposes for the applicable periods. Local deletion does not delete independent records held by Radio Browser, stations or Apple.
08External services and international connections
Directory servers, stations and their providers may be located in different countries, including outside the European Economic Area. Searches and playback may establish connections with those locations.
The developer does not hold a central copy of your favorites or searches to transfer to those services: requests originate on your device. Recipients nevertheless receive personal data such as your IP address. Their policies and terms determine their processing and, where applicable, the safeguards for their international transfers.
09Your rights
Where applicable, you may request access, correction, erasure, restriction, portability or objection concerning processing carried out by the developer by writing to the contact listed in this policy. No account is required. We will request only the information needed to identify your request and verify your identity where necessary.
We normally respond within one month; where the law allows an extension, we will explain the reason. We cannot remotely access or delete information stored only on your device or access independent services' records.
You may lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency or the competent data protection authority where you live. Requests concerning independent processing by Apple, Radio Browser or a station should also be addressed to the relevant controller.
10Security and changes
The app uses HTTPS to query the directory and initially supports HTTPS stream addresses. Local storage is subject to iOS protections and permissions. No system offers absolute security.
If features or data practices change, we will update this policy and its date. We will communicate significant changes appropriately and request consent when legally required. Reading this policy or continuing to use the app does not replace consent required by law.
